I just want to know why we weren't kicking field goals when we were on the 30 yard line???
Oh well. Maybe it will fire us up to beat the Pack!

that int on the last drive really killed us.

Hard loss. I think it was partly because we couldn't get the run eastablished and our secondary was getting walked on all day long.

I place NO blame on Dante because when we needed big plays, he made them. Him and Moss had a great game but they can't win it alone. Giants just had our number today as usual.

One loss aint so bad. The team is still hot and the packers game next week is going to be HUGE.

Farve has to face his old metrodome demons. That plus he still has a fractored thumb on his throwing hand. I can't wait to see him pout.

Punch hit it... no running game... the defense was pathetic. They are damn lucky they weren't down by 3 scores at half. Dauntee will get a lot of heat for his INT as it killed any chances of a comeback, but it was a sloid play by their corner and he definetly made some good plays today. Mr. Moss however needs to show up for the second half and catch the ball regardless of what the score is. On the kicking issue... we weren't kicking because he sucks... look at his kicks for the day,... they were pretty crazy.

Tough loss but hopefully will show them they aren't gonna walk through the rest of the leauge. Good reality check I think.

yuck. why'd it have to be the damn Giants. I mean, let's be honest, we were bound to lose sometime, but why the giants??! I've hated those bastards ever since they cheated their way to the '99 Superbowl that should've been ours. That was the beginning of Randy's troubles that really hurt us in '00 and '01.

On the up side, Bennet's back next week! woo hoo!!

It's hard to blame the game on the kicking.

The game should never come down to that in the first place. We just needed to move the ball more in the first half.

its been running all year. its been painful to watch our drives take up so little clock time because we cant keep the clock moving with runs. i guess it finally came back and got us.

PS. my hand hurts from when i punched a brick wall, think i can sue dante?

I don't blame the loss on the kicking but when we solidly make a 51 yarder and miss a 54 yarder, you just think they would have tried the 49 and 50 yarder. Gotta love that defense though...

IMO I don't think they should play Bennett next week. Less then a year out for that kinda injury is really risky and up till last week our running has been great. Let him sit a few more weeks and let him loose on some grass... not that shitty metrodome turf.

BTW I know knee injuries all too well... freshman year blew out my acl... tried to come back the next year on 10 months rehab and tore both all up in the tird game on turf.

it sucked when we blocked that punt and was looking like we could get a td out of it, only to have them get a first down.

I think mnstang hit it right on.

You could just see the entire attitude of the team deflate when that blocked punt ended up going the other way.

Guys just sort of sat there stunned and never got over it.

At the same time, this was a MUST WIN for the Giants, and
really had very little meaning for the Vikings with the big
lead they have in the division. Was almost predictable that
                        they'd look past NY.

Don't forget Michael Staham (sp?) during the 4th quarter. He was awsome for the giants and really sparked em.

Ironically, they would have been better off NOT blocking the punt.
