i'd fit with the right support.
I've riden/driven a few 100+mph boats. 120 on water is too fast. but yet so slow in a car. with the hull of your boat you'll never be able to go too too fast cause it'll get scary
. I'm a fan of 2 stroke outboards. a 2.5 merc will run 350 horse in a total motor shaft prop package weighing 400 lbs or so. I mean I've only rode is a few BBC boats but the problem is that the motor is in the boat so there is so much more force when moving. in an outboard all of the weight is sitting right on the propshaft and transom of the boat.
they are so dang fun but the last time I was out in one I think we burned 12 gallons of 110 octane fuel about 10 minutes. that's about $7.00 per minute or $420 per hour. ouch.
I wish I could afford to go fast.
