Isn't it weird how much we use the internet for major life decisions? Shopping for a house, for insurance, for colleges, for investing. What did we do before the net??
The report surveyed 2,201 Americans and asked them questions about their use of the Internet to make major life decisions. The areas specifically mentioned were: purchasing a new vehicle, making a major financial or investment decision, obtaining additional education or training for oneself or a child, and helping another person deal with a major illness or health condition. On average, 45 percent of Internet users surveyed said the Internet helped them make at least one major decision, up from 40 percent of those who answered the same survey in 2002.
