Its been a long winter of waiting to get on the dyno once more. The results were as expected...the car is a torque monster! The curve is totally flat like a KB twin screw.
Here's the rundown:
1994 VW (in da house) Golf III GL 2.0L
bad mass air
177,000
Kumho 185/65 14's
KYB in the rear
Single euro style wiper conversion
US tire and exhaust cat back
5-speed...original clutch
Original serp belt
rusty
newer left front headlight
non functional sunroof
Base Line #'s:
107 whp 125 wtq
#2 run with open air box:
113 whp 127 wtq
#3 run with Craftsman 6hp peak 200 mph electric leaf blower:
117 whp 138 tq @ 1.03 psi rapidly falling becoming a restriction (reverse centrifigual blower boost graph)
A/F's weren't logged due to leaky flex downpipe.
All runs were done on a Dyno Dynamics AWD chassis dyno at DB Performance
THANKS DB!!
