I NEED a job at 3M. I Went to the employee store today...

I had an apointment with someone at 3M today and at the end of our meeting we started BSing about 3M products and I told the woman how I am a fanatic about any product that 3M makes.

So she says "Oh my goodness...you would LOVE our employee store, if you have a few minutes I'll take you there...I hope you have your wallet because you wont be able to resist the prices".

She was absolutely right.....I didn't have much time so I ran around with a basket throwing shit in as fast as I could....Here's what I got.



A nice packing tape gun with tape
3 sponges
Lint roller with 3 replacements
Foaming glass cleaner
Brake cleaner
Organic dust masks
2 rolls of electrical tape
Ultrathon bug spray
2 rolls of small clear packing tape
7 packs of 2 9x11 sand paper
Duct tape bandaids (these are awesome)
Medium sanding screens (awesome for sanding sheetrock)
Fine sanding screens
2 rolls of professional duct tape
1 double roll desktop tape dispensor (the heavy good quality kind)

Normally this would probably be about a $100+



$26.01 for everything.....The sandpaper was $0.09 per pack

They had all kinds of other shit that I'm making a 2nd run for....They had all the automotive care products for interiors/plastics/paint marked way the hell down as well.


I need to find a sales job there....That store is AWESOME!

do they have other stuff like engine degreaser, etc along with brake cleaner? the next time you go i might need some stuff picked up, seeming how you live in brooklyn park as well.

lol...my aunt works there and we get duct tape for free. a friend of my dads also works there and drops off rolls of the fiberglass tape.

I was looking for the degreaser, but I couldnt find any....Figured brake cleaner was better than no cleaner at all.

They did have about 2 dozen different cans of adhesive....And they had a HUGE roll of 200mph tape, man the things I could do with that.......

Yeah my dad remodelled a guy's house and the guy worked for 3M. The guy gave my dad a bunch of boxes full of random 3M goodies. I think we got about 100 rolls of electrical tape among other things. I still use a lot of the shit too.

A buddy of mine I used to work with has a garage full of 3M merchandise, his dad hooked him up with it. I mean literally a whole garage full, he gives me shit all the time. =)
