What is the deal with Vipers anyway, usually they don't want to race and if they do if there is any chance of losing the will just let up as soon as you start pulling on them.

I was dynoing my buddys 92 Talon this summer and when I left the dyno I got on it a bit getting onto 94. To make a long story short a Viper comes up on my right side. Black Viper with a middle aged guy driving (around 35 maybe). Anyway I drop the car into 3rd going about 45 mph. As soon as he heres me down shift he hits it when I wasn't even ready. He pulls about a car length on me, as soon as the turbo spooled I put about two lengths on him, I shifted to 4th and started to pull on him a little more and he let off. WTF?

Car I was driving make 498whp and 441wtrq. He would have obviously still lost but shit atleast stay in it until 130+ to make it interesting.

Depends on how old the guy is. Last spring there was a guy early to mid 30's rolling around Uni in a white '04 SRT-10 Viper looking for a modded Cobra to run and we went out onto 280 where I put the beat down on him. This one rolling around last night sounded like it had a little work done to it.

no thats the typical old guy in his corvette that you see driving on nice sunny days. Wont race anyone said corvettes are the best car, the fastest car. It don't need any mods cause its plenty fast stock. When the to pick a race to run, its usually against someone the a bone stock car. Oh I love vette owners, so fun to fuck with!

Thats John Z's, hes the lead SVT tech at AV ford. Its got the basic Cobra stuff done to the motor, I imagine its close to 450-500 at the rear wheels. It does have the 2000 cobra R front brakes on it tho! BTW I have access to a Black 03 Cobra spoiler if some one buys that car.
