Step right up and purchase two museum pieces. You can never again drive these cars or you will lose value precipitously. Have them to be admired by the throngs of corvette afficianados - from a distance. Don't actually touch them, this might leave oils on the paint.
Great history. For me, however, I'll never own a car that will not be driven. If I have enough to buy it, I WILL drive it. Cars deteriorate when not driven.

im guessing these cars were built for Trans Am racing, or something over the road for long periods of time. alot of cars back then carried extra fuel because it saved them time and had a longer distance.

I agree totally with both statements and both are the truth.

Not true at all, the way the tankers were built is realy cool and distributes the weight/fuel evenly. I remember seeing a story on these tanker cars on tv a while back and they have a very interesting history.Buying muscle/sports cars/regular cars/trucks, send me info, I pay cash or credit card if that makes you feel better!
