For anyone using Firefox that is having problems with buttons on the forum

If you are finding that when you click things like smilies, or buttons in the "post reply" or "quick reply" windows you need to do this quick fix.

Just do ctrl + F5. This will clear out your cache. The reason this is happening is because Firefox has some javascript cached from the old version of VBB and you need to flush it to get the new code.

So a quick ctrl + F5 should do it.

          I disagree.

my problem now is that it says error:"null" is null or not an object. It happens in any forum main like classifieds or clubhouse. What the hell is that about. It annoys me everytime I have to cluck yes or no to keep running scripts (again, whatever the hell that means.)

Did you flush you're cache? Do the ctrl+F5 on the pages that are giving you trouble.

I cleaned out my cache and everything works great now. Is there a list somewhere of the new features in VBB? I am just curious what other little things there are like being able to edit the title

Are you using the AOL browser? If so.. DON'T. It's a pile of crap.

If you are using aol (lord help you), install firefox (www.mozilla.com) and then when you are connected to aol... minimize the AOL software and launch firefox. You don't need to use any of AOL's stuff.

I don't see why people use AOL anymore..

-you can instant message for free, either use AIM or GAIM (http://gaim.sourceforge.net)

-there are plenty of free webmail services that are better then aol email (www.gmail.com for one)

-firefox! best browser ever.. actually supports modern web technology unlike aol's junk browser

Get out of the "walled garden" people, AOL is just stealing your money by offering you services you can get on your own for free. Liberate yourselves!
