I'd say 34# is heavy since the 17's I'm picking up are under 22#.

Quality wheels delivered to your door since 1999.

you can get a cheap set of saleen wheels there.

34# isnt that bad, since Kris R's Z06 replicas weight about that much I believe.

                  would 315s fit?
i think 285 will be more then wide enough.

The way I look at it why spend the big $ for the huge tires, when all they do is look cool. I would just go with a tire that you know gives you proper traction and handles well. Once you start getting into the huge tires, the sidewall starts getting smaller and smaller, therefore giving you a much more harsh ride when you go over bumps.

For your car I would say stick with something like a 275 and a 9 inch wheel, but thats just me.

When I get some extra money I want some 17x9's and will be going with 275's out back and probably 245's up front.

They'd fit nicely on a 10 or 10.5 inch wheel! True, you don't need the width prolly, but so what . Depends on what you wanna spend too. I'm sure a 285 would look good too.

well when i was looking at tires the difference was like 10 dollars from 275 to 285...so i figured to go 285....i would never get 315 lol...not needed for my power level....by the time i would need them id need new tires probably lol.

                              so would 285 fit on a 9 or should i get a 10?
so a smaller wheel and tire in front is normal?
                              better then 285s all around?
otherwise is this a good plan.....

                              front:245s on 9
                              back:285s on 10 or 10.5?
