Rocco's isn't bad either. My mom used to work at a Rocco's back in the early 60's.
Rocco's is awesome stuff too, good call. I always use to go to the one on Hennipen in uptown (when it was there back in the 80's, Green Mill is there now) when I was a kid and lived in uptown.
Another vote for Pizza Factory. As a matter of fact, I had dinner there last night.
When we got to my place, I already had a candle burning. It was by "Glade", which I think you pronounce like the singer Sade, because it is an exotic candle that smells just like real pine.

My friend used to manage a Rocco's before it went under. Great place to conduct other shady business. And the owner didn't mind becuase he was busy vacationing in colombia once or twice a month.
I've eaten at many decent pizzas, some of which have been mentioned here. No complaints.
If any of you are in the Edina/Mpls border area of 50th and France (just a few blocks from the lakes) , I strongly urge you to stop into Paradise Pizza next to Geek Squad store. This is a take-out/delivery place only and they have the most loyal customer base I have EVER seen. Their pizza MUST be tried. I make trips in from Burnsville just to get their pies.
It's useless to compare them to the others here.

While we're at talking about Pizza/Italian joints, who likes Mansetti's?
We have one in Champlin, funny thing is that I'd rather drive to Shoreview though since that one's better.
ahh yes, Mansetti's is the shiznit. We go to all three of them around this area like the one on 109th and 65. The ones on 65 up in Ham Lake, and the one on Round Lake Blvd. The one in Ham Lake is the best of the 3 I think.
I cant believe nobody mentioned Cosetta's. Down by the Xcel that place kicks ass. There is a place down here in Kato with badass woodfired pizza, T.J.'s.
