Looking for some help rebuilding my 302.

Basically needs to be assembled. Block works been done (got itfrom 88 5oh, whom i still need to pick up main caps from) and i need to pick up some connecting rod nuts and bolts. But, id like to get pistons and rings in, maybe oil pump and stuff. just get the basics done. i still need to decide what heads to go with... Ive got choice betweeen..

83 302 stockers
66 289 Slightly ported.(currently on the bad 302 in the 77)
89 351 Windsor stockers(need new headbolts and machine work to do these though)
77 302 stock heads.
or... a set of freebees.. whos got some

Which heads are in the best condition? My uneducated vote goes with thw '66 heads just because they're pre smog.

the 66's are pretty decent. Theyll giv eme higher compression too, which is fine, i dont think ill have fundage to go to a turbo project for a little while.

I bet you could pick up some e7s for real real cheap. I sold mine complete with rockers for 20$ Make a wanted thread.
You would get the best bang for your buck!
I wouldnt want to put those blah heads that you listed on anything worth a nano second of time.
