Wife back in the day use to use a G4 for her job and she is trying to get back into the graphic design now, so I need to get her a puter with the proper software.

Any tips on where to look for a G4 or what's the going rate for these things? No, I will not buy one off of evilbay. Looked at Craigslist and found a 500mhz with 20g hd and 512 Ram for $150 or $175, but no idea if that's a deal or not.

Any input would be appreciated.

so look on ebay for the going price for them. Nobody said you had to buy one, but at least you can get an idea what the market is demanding. Also note you're going to need some sort of a converter because the old g4's used proprietary mac graphics output that won't work with a standard PC monitor.
