Its an interesting article and makes the attitude people have towards him at porkies seam pretty low.
Well, I woudl assume anyone who didn't know him/his background would assume he' sjust another drunk/cracked out bum rolling around. I've never met him so I can't say for sure, but most of the bum's I've seen in the past act pretty much like they're retarded whent hey're fucked up on their drug of choice. I'd be wary of said person too if I didn't know anything about them.
That being said, cool story, glad they ran it, sounds like a cool guy.

He truly is Mr. happy guy. It's a great story. I hope that others will embrace him more. And he sure does know a lot about cars! This is his passion, so he reads EVERYTHING and it is his life focus...besides being helpful to others.

Yes, Calr is indeed a nice guy. Always talking about cars...and he can usually tell you wether or not a car has the original motor in it based on the trim level. It was funny the first time i herd him tell a kid that knew nothing about his car that the 350 under the hood shouldn't be there...

I actually talked to this guy one night, me and my buddy bought him a cheeseburger and shake at Porkys. this guy really really knows his cars. We had a hard time leaving, cause everytime we where bout to. He would mention something else, all in all, he is a cool old guy.
Agreed that this guy knows his cars, not just old domestics either, he told me ALL about my car. Exact displacement, compression ratio, how the stock turbos worked, it blew my mind.

I've met him at Porky's. He is a really nice guy! And, like others have said -- he knows cars better than damn near anyone! Cool story. I didn't know anything about his history before now. I look forward to the documentary.
It's all about the boost....
