    Hunting

A buddy and I were looking into going bear hunting in minnesota next year. I was just wondering if anyone has done this before here. I know you have to apply for a license and i know you have to bait them in advance. I was just wondering how many days/weeks you should put your bait and stuff out and how often (everyday, every other etc.) The baiting part could be a pain since I'm from Savage and go to school in Mankato and we would be hutning up near Bemidji. Just thought it would be fun to do if it wasnt too much work. Just want to hear form someone who has some experience. thanks

my buddy used to do it. he'd go up on the weekends and bait them, and during the season. i don't think you really need to bait them long in advance though, they have very very good smelling sense. i bet the first time you bait them, it would be gone by the end of the weekend.
we have those game cameras by our deer feeders and on a couple rolls there was bear there before deer.

It takes time to hunt if your not in the lottey permit area's, I have done both and it can be easy or very very hard.
