New vehicle time maybe, input wanted

As some of ya know i picked up a 2000 Lincoln Ls at the end of summer. well its not me i love the car but to fancy and shit and for all the pimp factor I am kinda scared of the headaches the space shutlle like interior will bring on. Anyways I'm thinkin more towards a truck again as thats what I have always have and its nice to have one around. I am thinking about a 1999-01 lighting, and if that doesnt work financially (trade on my car + insurance) maybe a 2wd shortbed short cab 5.4 truck slap a S/C on it and go from there. I'm not scared to drive 2wd in the winter did it for 2 years. anybody have any words of wisdom?

To each his own. I think if you can find a 5.4L 2wd truck that is deffinately the way to go, although there weren't to many of them made.

Hmm... goodluck with the 5.4 in a RCSB truck search. I was lookin' for that same truck before I got my GMC... I didn't come up with one in the ammount of time I looked, they were all 4.6s.
