Ok, its been 6 months since i had my "friend" help me install my new motor in my car and i left my old one at his house. Well dan asked me if i wanted to sell it and was like sure, let me see if he still has the motor. Called him up and he said he still got it but he wants half of what i sell it for cause i left it there for 6 months and i was supposed to get it the same month i put the motor in but i never had a chance to get it. Some of you prolly know him, hes the guy that has the white mustang with blue and purple flames on the front. I kinda dont want to get screwed out of half the money for the engine.
what should i do?

i understand this, but i have no truck to get it with and untill recently i just cleaned out my garage so i have room now for it. 6 months ago my garage was full of shit. I know its kinda rude to leave it there, but he never called me asking me to take it and it seemed like it wasnt a problem for me to leave it there till i sold it. Guess i should give him half?Last edited by konastang5.0; 08-06-2003, 01:47 PM.2015 Mustang GT

None of my friends would ever dream of charging anyone for anything like that. We all help each other out when we can. If it was such a big inconvenience he could have called you or gotten a hold of you. Sounds like he sees an opportunity to get a little cash and is taking advantage of it to me. I have parts in my engine I never paid for! A set of 24 lb. injectors and my camshaft (both used) were given to me at the time of install and we will work out the details later. I still owe him for that. Thanks Tim (Username I Tried on this board).even if its a friend, you cant expect people to do stuff for free.
I traded Scott a set of underdrive pulleys for a set of stock ones. I could have easily gotten a set of stock pulleys for nothing and sold the underdrives but I figured Scott could find a use for them. I just don't think it's a big deal. This is a good idea. Even if he is a true friend. It would be a nice gesture but I don't think any of my friends would expect this. It just shows you appreciate what they did for you. Maybe you two weren't that close of friends though. I don't know. But I do think if he had a problem with it he could have easily gotten a hold of you.take him out to eat...Last edited by Ford Fan; 08-07-2003, 12:33 AM.8.54 @ 159 mph on a 275 drag radial
