Let's not degrade our law enforcement officers by calling them PIGS. Seriously! You may not like getting the ticket, but the officer was merely enforcing the written code. He can not KNOW that you have worked to rectify the situation. He only KNOWS that you have no plate. LIkely, you will get it wiped out as you can prove that you ordered a new set plates. Yes, it's a hassle, but don't excoriate the man for doing his job.
