    wow...what a day

woo, im wiped out from todays fiasco headed to KKD to meet up for some breakfast, and to caravan out to mods and rods. ha a nice 6 person caravan to the show. brought everyone a dozen donuts, and got some extra points on my judging from mikey

car show was awesome, looked like things were very well organized for a first annual show. tcstangs ended up WINNING best club showing so a BIG thanks to everyone that came out, and for those who didn't, suck it the race for that category was pretty close i was told, so im glad we ended up winning. the event was really fun, saw alot of cool cars, i'll get some pics up tomorrow.

probably had the best mustang oriented showing at uni tonight, i was really surprised. had cars out there early, and late too, was a good night for cars :smoking hopefuly we can get something like this going again, good to see the lot filled with domestics, heh.

Wish I coulda made it to UNI, but it just wasn't in the cards today.

I agree though, the MnR show was a blast.

Mods and Rods was a blast. The judging was warped, '96 Monte Carlo winning best in show . Oh well, it was still fun. Uni rocked tonight, and I even got a chance to play on the way home, ran into 99SSleeper on snelling and I learned a couple things about my car. I need to learn how to drive! It was a good day, we need to do it again.

It was pretty cool tonight at the lot, it was my first TCStangs event.
Had alot of fun on the way home, messed with the Black 240sx, Silver Supra, Kenny's stang, Scott's stang earlier in the evening, and some other misc. cars.....it was fun!

I didn't get down to Uni until midnight, by then it was pretty dried up, went out to Kasota real quick, and on our way out at least 10 cops came flying in and held us up for about 45 minutes. Oh well.

I agree on that category, but I think the judging for "Best Performance Modification" was right on

The show was a good time, although I agree the judging was something that could be improved on. I got beat by this Civic that won like 4 trophies, oh well. The Mobil lot was pretty packed afterward, except for one person.... and racing the 240 and WUTUGOT was a good time, good runs man!

Well I would first of like to congratulate TC Stangs for taking home the club award. Way to go guys. Wish one of the other sites I was on would of fared better. Also congrats again Pat for taking home a trophy. His car car definetly deserved it and one of my personal favorites of the domestic show. Now for a couple of cars I thought deserved some press...
Velocity: You mustang is absolutely breath taking! It probably scored the highest over all on my score sheet for the domestic class. I'm sure you probably were pretty close in a few category's but regardless wanted to say you have a sweet machine... also was fun BS'ing in the lot later that night.
Duck: The mess is definetly that, A MESS! But regardless of appearance it does function well and is extremely low budget and creative... Both which are big cool factors in my book. Even though it might not take home many trophies from shows, but it was definetly sweet to see her up close. Let me know if you have any more questions pertaining to taking her to the track.

There were lots of other nice stangs there as well... thanks to everyone showing up. I definetly didn't agree with how they had the judging setup. I tried to be as fair as possible when judging mine, but it was really hard to notice the little things when we had 2 1/2 hours to judge 150+ cars. I told Dan that I felt that some of the categories were kinda lame. Hopefully there will be a revamp for next year.
