where can i download a free dvd player for my computer?

first of all...i dont know jack about this computer stuff. what i gather is i need a dvd decoder or something to watch dvds on my computer....

to make it short and sweet...how do i do this?

you know, the DVD drive, inside your computer. you should have gotten a program to play Dvd.


If it is just a regular CD rom, your gonna have a really hard time trying to get a DVD to play .

Ive only seen a couple of regular cd roms play dvds and not very reliably..
