I'm potty training my kitten!!

HAHA! How cool is that? Won't ever have to clean a litter box again and no gross smells of cat box.

It takes a few steps to train them and we're at the point where next step is removing the basket in the toilet. I'll try to take some pics when he's completely trained. OMG it looks so funny!
I walked in on him today and I was like oops!! hahaha. He was done by the time I went to get my camera. It's ready for next time though!

-anyone else done this before or know anyone who was successful at training their cats?

our cat is about 3 mo old now.. its box trained just fine.. but an actual toilet would be great.. just train it to flush after

we started last month (he's 4 months old now). It's really cool. I can't wait not to clean out any more litter boxes. If you want to know how to do it, I can tell ya what to do.

We just locked our kittens in the bathroom for a few nights with the litter box and they figured it out.

1) move litter box next to toilet
2) add books or something sturdy under it and gradually raise it higher and higher to the height of the toilet over a course of 1-2 weeks
3) go to Walmart and get a disposable aluminum pan (they make one the shape of your toilet bowl), tape it in the toilet and put seat down. Add flushable litter.
4) after about a week, poke holes in the bottom of the pan so the litter gradually leaks out.
5) once there is very little litter left, remove disposable pan.

I go to this Wal Mart, and the "W" and "M" were burnt out. Every, and I mean EVERY cart is in the parking lot in THE PARKING SPOTS! There was nowhere to park. It really didnt get any better from there... BTW Thanks Grif

all walmarts are ghetto!
the only thing good about them is their prices, and some are open 24hours... but the customer experience is awful and frightening. if it's not people running into the back of your heels with their damn carts, it's other people that don't know how to walk properly and just stand there.... and you know there are always the freaks and scum of the earth people there.
and don't even get me started on there poor aisle management!

ahh mnstang.. a man after my own heart.. i HATE wallmart too..
and they are not open 24hours.. despite what the sign says, tehy close for 1 hour each day where you can walk around the store and "shop" but you cant check things out... WTF is that?

does anyone else walk into walmart and automatically feel like trash? i need to take a shower after i walk out of there.. ick..

i never knew about the one hour thing, but i know one time me and my buddy were in a bind to get this stereo stuff hooked up at a party thing, so we go to walmart.... it was prettly late at night/morning, so that was our last option.
anyway there was some guy mopping the electronics area and it was all taped off in yellow tape. naturally we were like F this and went under the tape. the mopper guy flipped out on us, i think he had his spare mop shoved up his ass or something cuz he was a total dick. so we had to leave that dept, only to *secretly* sneek back in about 5 min later.
and i wanted to say "trash" in my earlier post but didn't want people to think i was snobby.... but that's the people that really are there though.
this is just one wally world experience gone horribly wrong.
