Mustang Rally Racing

Has anyone ever thought of rally racing a Mustang? I looked into it just for the fun of it, and it appears that some people have capable cars and are contenders in their local rally events.

Just do some high performance driving on road courses. That's hard enough on your car.

I guess there is a stock class. seems like a good place to take a fox 5.0 out and own up some of the saturns that run it.



I have talked about buying a junker SVO with my brother and racing it in that class. sounded fun at the time. until you learn about all the money involved. its more expensive then road course racing.

The Mustang already is ass end happy. With how easy it is to crack the tires loose on tar, I cannot even imagine in the dirt. Looks like a recipe for disaster unless you spend a shitload of money, anything is possible.

Actually, back in the day, Stormwalker and I used to take a car, not a stang through cornfields, and all sorts of other schenanigans.
