A routher with port blocking and the windows firewall have worked great for me. Don't forget to get a recend anti-virus program such as Norton, AVG, McAfee, etc...LOOK HERE:Originally posted by Pony5.0but hey we have broken up 2 times in the past week and she keeps crawling back to me and she told me she would never crawl back to a guy and i am the only one. she tells me she loves me and everything!

My roomate has it all hooked up. It's kind of a cluster fuck back there. There is a black box that has a bunch of stuff on it like usb, enet, send, etc.... and there is another box that says linxus 5 port working hub. That help?

You will need to check and see if its a router that he has hooked up, or if it is a switch/hub. If its not a router, go to Best Buy or wherever and pick up the router that they have on sale and hook that up. If you have Windows XP Service Pack 2, it should have the windows firewall set up already. I have to get to class now, but I can fill you in a little better later today.LOOK HERE:Originally posted by Pony5.0but hey we have broken up 2 times in the past week and she keeps crawling back to me and she told me she would never crawl back to a guy and i am the only one. she tells me she loves me and everything!

Thats got the port blocking in it already. You should be all set if you have Windows XP SP2. To check that, go into the control panel and select system properties. It will tell you if its sp2 or not.LOOK HERE:Originally posted by Pony5.0but hey we have broken up 2 times in the past week and she keeps crawling back to me and she told me she would never crawl back to a guy and i am the only one. she tells me she loves me and everything!
