sorry i was thinking about stuff i had laying around
but my line of thinking was a chp street fighter pro shortblock $2599
Dart 170/190 heads $1200
holley 750 (can dig one up for cheap somewhere less than $150)
edelbrock rpm/victor jr intake (less than $250)
either a comp cam or lunati ive been eyeing... ($300)

I submit that more I.T. people have disposable income to waste on making cars go fast
balancer, flywheel, oil pan/pickup, all the front accessories and brackets, ignition, fuel system, cooling system, hardware/gaskets, i could go on....
oil, fuel, and ignition we all separate on my list from the motor itself, hardware was included on the the chp shortblock minus head/intake bolts but now your just nitpicking, i just threw that figure out there you could reuse stock accessories or get bigger/better ones but this was all hypothetical anyways besides if you were trying to do this on a budget to prove a point that it can be done for under $25k and actually were spending the $$ im sure you would shop around or see what people had laying around for the best price anyways...

You could have sold me your car.............I would have let you drive it on the track when I was done "tweaking it"

That would have been a rush of different strong feelings... ranging from upset stomach when looking @ my poor track-whored out Cobra , to prolly excitement and adrenaline rush from the track run :3gears:, to being sick again that my car is doing this
