New Small buisness. Possibly starting. need contacts and accounts.

Hey all, this is a little bit of a solicitation I guess. Most of you know I’ve been looking for work. I haven’t been able to find anything solid or in IT yet.

One of the things I did in the past was Fire Extinguisher Service, and fire suppression system service and installations.

I am certified by the City of Minneapolis to Service Portable Fire extinguishers. I was trained and certified by badger to service and install their Fire suppression systems (the certification does not follow once you leave the company you get it from)
Like I stated above I’m Certified by Minneapolis to do so (license # 572, and willing to show it if interested, I still carry it on me)
Here is what imp looking for.

I can do Annual Inspections as well as monthly inspections at a reduced rate of most companies out there, because it would be just me doing this.

I’m looking for interested people to let me know and ill work out rates.

Most companies do NOT take their monthly Maintenance seriously and such failures have caused businesses to lose more than needed in the case of a small fire (the fire gets out of hand because the ext lost its charge, or wasn’t hung properly, Obstructed, ect ect.)

Like I said, I am interested in doing Annual Inspections, and if needed, I could work out a deal to do 6 year, and Hydro tests as well. If you guys have a company or have some say so in one on these matters, let me know, and ill come up with a small business name and license and Fax or email a pricing sheet.

One advantage I have, knowing what companies charge and since I’ve done the work, I know what I can charge to save you money and make my own.

Pm me or call with questions
    651 770 1901- Home
651 494 8005- Cell (split it with fiancé, so I do not always have it)

    thanks for looking.

    Joe

I agree 115% on that comment. People, you need to have the fire ext. in working condition and easily reached. Otherwise about the only thing that it's good for is to bust out a window. Also make sure all your employees know how to use them. P.A.S.S. Pull, Aim (at the base), Squeeze, Sweep (side to side). Make sure that the ext. is the right type to combat fires. Check your emergency lighting too while you're at it. As Richard Pryor said in 'Car Wash': "It's better to have it and not need it, than it is to need it and not have it."
Dear Government, eventually the people with money will tell you to fuck off, and stop paying for those that don't work

Who does your taxes? Looks like you will have a Schedule C for 05 then.

            Hey Joe,

The content of your resume looks good except the 3rd shift supervisor content. The first comment line doesn't read very well. I think you should expand about what you did as a supervisor or get rid of it all together. It doesn't seem like you gave yourself enough credit as a supervisor.

Your next problem is the presentation. Your resume doesn't appeal to the eye. Your address, phone number and your name don't fit well. Look around on the internet and see the different resume styles. The one you have now looks like you used microsofts resume wizard.

You only have one chance for a job to call you back for an interview. The only way they are going to call is if your resume is set up for them to enjoy reading it.

Yeah, true. I put that Resume together in a short afternooon, and havent had alot of time to finish/upgrade it.

Im seriously thinking of this for a career option. It could be good money with low overhead if i could get enough annual accounts, as well as doing monthly inspections of their cylinders, emergency lights and stuff as well.

if any one is seriously interested, i know Paint booths as well

installed 2 of them. Installed 5 Kitchen systems.

but like i said it would be mainly for inspection alone right now unless i could build up a LARGE enough customer base.

That's a risky angle your taking.

Military's looking better and better. Especially with your family situation. You should talk to a recruiter and see if it's something you might want to explore further. Heck, I'll go down and sit with you so they don't try and fool you into something.

Yeah i know. If i go in, it will be on my own terms. Theyll find they cant push me around until i let them

I get done with school in Nov of 06' So, until then, this MIGHT work out if i get enough interest Generated to fully pursue this.
