This is the website for the company I work for. I want to get honest opinions of what you guys think of it. I am in advertising so it is my job to convince people to advertise with us on the radio, and on our homepage. Let’s say you were looking around, had a product you want to get out to the public, would you consider us based on the way our page looks? Would you? If not, why not? I would tell you what I think, but I want some opinions of what the general public thinks of our homepage. Let me know the resolution of your monitor too. I want honest opinions. If you think it looks great say so, if you think it looks like garbage, it wont hurt my feelings.

The scrolling text = BAD. And what's with the 30 animated gif advertisements? I'd get rid of the advertisment at the top of the page for site that gave you the code for the nav bar.
And you need to seperate the main content in the middle, the "whats new at GCN" is to close to the advertisments just above it. Need to create a tad bit more seperation.
I would move the advertisments above the "whats new at GCN" to below the information. It's not very appealing to frame your content in advertisments down the left side and on the top.
what I mean:
<header>
__ads____
| content
| content
|
<header>
| content
| content
|___ads__

I would also suggest that instead of the scolling text, you make a banner graphic that has the information about the subscription that has a background that matches the website color, and you put it at the top of the page somewhere. Instead of the annoying scrolling text you can have a simple banner graphic that's less flashy and links to your subscription page.

Scaling with the screen size is a biggy to add/fix.
Divising a way to "div"vy up the screen would be my next suggestion. Get rid of the ugly table borders, etc.
As a matter of preference and compatibility I'd also get rid of the popup menus. But that's a pet-peeve more than constructive criticism I guess.

The one thing that struck me is that there are a ton of advertisements on the page. It takes away from the credibility of the page to have that many ads.LOOK HERE:Originally posted by Pony5.0but hey we have broken up 2 times in the past week and she keeps crawling back to me and she told me she would never crawl back to a guy and i am the only one. she tells me she loves me and everything!
