That's what I figured. I was north of 394 going south on 169. I came up on a red C5 convert and the Green Cobra. I saw the "I DAREU" plate and thought this guy would frum roll for sure. I figured the C5 driver was just another old man who wouldn't lower himself to racing. So I had a choice, as the C5 was getting off 169 to go west on 394, and the Cobra kept on going south. I thought the Cobra would be a sure thing.Originally posted by KrisRCome on....if you have 'I DAREU' on your plate, you MUST frumroll. It's a law, or something. No doubt.Originally posted by badcobraThat's pretty lame to have plates like that and not even give you a run. What a :looser:
I pulled along side him and gave him the 3 honks from about 60mph, then I floored it. Maybe he was trying with those 300 horses.
On a side note, shortly thereafter I started hearing a whoop, whoop coming out of my rearend. It kept getting worse. As I got off the freeway to my house I didn't think I was going to make it. I pulled off the cover and lo and behold 3 teeth were missing off the ring gear. I called Matt Deckert(Carnutz) and he had a new set of 4.10s on his shelf. I called my other buddy up and by 3am had them installed. The rearend hasn't been set up this well since I picked up the car new from the dealership. No grinds, howls, or anything. I hope it makes it for awhile as I need to save up for a 12 bolt.
I'm pissed I didn't make it out for Saturday nights festivities, as I'll be out of town next weekend.Last edited by SS1LE02; 04-25-2005, 09:10 PM.2009 CTS-V
