BBQ on Sunday May 22nd, on Weaver Lake in Maple Grove

I found a fantstic park/pavillion on Weaver Lake in Maple Grove (right of 94) and the best date they have open is Sunday, May 22nd. The only downside is doing a Porky's cruise after the bbq will be kind of pointless but the park is fantastic and I think it's totally worth doing on a Sunday.

We will organize a group cruise to Porkys the saturday night before the BBQ to promote it and hand out flyers.

Pro's:
-Really nice park, very private parking lot. Has a basketball court, sweet playground, and it's right on the lake. Parking lot is right next to pavillion
-It's a lot cheaper
-Sunday may be a good day for people. BBQ will be from 1 to 5 probably.
-SVTOATC people can come because it's the day after their meeting.
-Basketball court right next to the pavillion. Some pickup games anyone?

Con's
-No group cruise to porkys (unless people really want too). However we could still take a group sunday drive around the north burbs or something.

Yeah,I think a porkys cruise on sunday would be kinda cool. Make for a good picture if we could fill the whole thing.

sounds good, We should really try and get as many people as possible to do a porkys cruise on saturday. I told punch that we should see if anyone that wants to goto the bbq should try and make the cruise. I think it would be awsome having like 40-50 stangs all roll though porkys and totally take it over.

The money that Mach Performance Parts and Hi Tech has givin me will cover the pavillion but I still will have to buy meat out of pocket unless I get some more money raised.

People will have to bring soda, sides (potato salad, taco salad, pasta salad, beans, ect.), and chips.
