    New Job

I turned in my application to Treasure Island on Wednesday and they called on Friday and wondered if I could come take the Cage Cashier test. I ended up getting a perfect on that and it only took 10 min and I had 30. One of my references is a cage cashier and he said that would hopefully get me in. Job pays 12-14 an hour. So I will start making roughly 400-500 a week. Im excited.

Congrats on the job guy. It's a start and casino's have a lot of different jobs.

No, MAF is maxed so I have a 90mm one coming with a 75mm TB and new intake tube/filter setup. Had issues with TB adjustment, so guy on ModularDepot gave me detailed instructions on how to adjust it to be in sync with the IAC. Then I'll worry about the TPS.

Plus side is once I get the hanging idle and MAF done, it should put out 30 hp more.

I live with my parents now but by the end of the summer they are moving and I will still be living in Lake City, by the way looking for a roommate for that.

LC, if I could go back in time and change something, I would have saved more consistanley when I was first starting out. If you save some money on a regular basis, you will have money for the house down payment, school, retirement, etc. Makes a big difference. If they have a 401k plan, you can put money away untaxed usually with some kind of match for the first 5%.

Example: Put 100 into the 401k plan. Costs you 70 bucks since you don't pay taxes on it. If they match 50% on the first 5% based on 500/wk, it's another 12.50 thrown in.

So your cost is about 70 bucks to save 112.50. Pretty good return.

I'll let you know, but man your putting the pressure on the driver here. I still have to install the new stuff, get it dyno'd, get together with Carnutz for the rear end upgrade and then slicks so I can get off the line hard. I want 12.50 or better and then high 11's once I get better driving.

Let me know what you dyno at.

I'd imagine it's the graveyard shift? 12a-8a? I've considered working parttime at a casino but my laziness always prevails, maybe someday when I'm in a bind for cash.

FYI its $12 an hour, so after taxes you will be shy of 400.

Oh and why did you not ask me to be your referance. I could of just went and talked to the manager and got you the job.
