S.F.I. wtf

Got my sfi flex plate and trans shield..Both of them have stickers on them..What is the teck guy going to do crawl under the car...I thought they gave you a card or something??????

i only got a sfi card with my balancer, all the other sfi stuff just had the sticker on it. so i don't know how'd they ever know if my flywheel has the sticker on it or not, that would be a tough one. not that i'm worried about it though..

I have never had my SFI gear checked. It is all there but most of the time they just take your word for it.

PAUL, neatest and easiest way to make tech easier. make a sheet with all your sfi parts with dates and pictures of the tags, so there is no questions...

Except in all reality that makes no difference if they REALLY didn't believe you, since the pictures don't prove the parts are currently on the car.

Paul, you know they will want to see the sticker if you go to Rock Falls. I bet they'll make to take everything apart just to see the sticker if they have to...Just because they always give you a hard time

yes but if you come to tech yielding all part numbers and pictures of when they expire, its up to them to check beyond that. In my past experience the more profesional and serious you appear in tech lines the faster they let you go through. I have teched everything from my 15 second lightning to a 8 SECOND MUSTANG.... beleive me any chance you give them to doubt you they will...

I got a funny story. My good friend has a '74 Cuda pruple with hockey sticks and WAY over cammed with like 13.1 pistons. It sounds like something that will break the speed barrier! People always jump when he fires it up. So anyways we all went down to CF and some LARGE woman tech didn't believe him that it only would pull mid 12's and she absolutly tore into his car. In the middle of the tech lane she was on her back, under the car, up, down, everywhere! I have no idea what was up her butt? But I have to agree take pic's and manny of them, or anything that will make tech go easy! At CF of all places...wierd!

That she is flashback wife She is usually pretty cool??? My problem is with the rock falls guys.One time they were telling me my belts were out of date and no screw in valve stems in the front tires and i was only going11,s and the chevy in front of me had only a lap belt and covered lugs and was in the tens and he passed and i failed and had to bu there over priced seatbelt..

I agree. Rock falls are the strictest ones but they do have their own rules for people (I think) they know. Last year, me and another friend just laid down our first 11 second pass and they pretty much chewed us out for not having the safety equiptment. (roll bar, jacket, harnesses, etc) My friend said (just looking around) what about that car, that car, etc (about 4 other cars) were running low 11's and mid to high 10's with no safety equiptment at all. They just told us to worry about our cars and not anybody elses.
