Elko Spectator Drags / Hornet Races

Just curious if anyone is planning to do either one of these or both this year.

I have run spectator drags at Elko and Raceway every year for the past three years. Best $5 you can spend.

I've been in the season championship race the last two years running at Raceway.

I plan on running spectator drags at one or both this year. It helps that they are both close to home now.

If I still had the old paint I would. Spectator drags is the best part of the races at raceway, fallowed up in a close second would be the bus races

That van of yours hung in there pretty good, what does that run in the 1/4?

I was there a couple years ago around the 4th of July and watched those races, a maroon fox stang won it that time. They had school bus races that night too, one of the funniest things i have ever seen, you could here the four barrels bellering as they came out of the corner in front of the stands.

i will watch and not race at this establishment. i do not promote running my car at a circle track.

i will watch though, it is fun to see the cars go round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round, oh shit i made myself dizzy...............................

I'm considering racing a 2.3 Mustang in the Hornets.

Pretty much any "stock" N/A 4cyl (or rotory) can run. Tires size is 195/75/14 I beleive
Take all windows and lights out (exept windsheild) and run it.

                              And Bryan...
I've seen a couple of Chrysler mini-vans running in the Hornet class.
