    crashed my car.

not too happy. on the way to work this morning i got in a front end collision with some kid as i was turning left. i didnt have a green arrow or anything and he was going straight. i just have NO IDEA where he came from cause i didnt see him. anyways, the TDI is not looking pretty at all. airbags didnt deploy which is good, but my shoulders hurt and ive just got my fingers crossed the car isnt totalled. itll need a new hood, bumper cover, fender, and possibly a whole mess of shit since some of the turbo plumbing comes right down on the passenger side where i got nailed and from what i could see (through the gaping whole where car used to be) it didnt look pretty.

    im pissed.

Sorry to hear that man. Thats why they're called accidents. Bring it to Pro Collision in Apple Valley. Excellent work done there and we will take care of you. And I'm almost sure it won't be totaled. Unless something major is damaged.

Nope Everyone that is there has only been there for 2 months. All the old techs are gone. The old manager ran the place into the ground. One of the big wigs from Abra was hired and he brought in some of the best techs around and they are dumping big money into the shop. We just bought a $35,000 computerized frame system. and there is a lot more to come with AV backing us.

this was in saint paul. i didnt really have much of a choice between the saint paul contracted towing service and my insurance i was not in the mood to argue about where the car went when i was covered in coffee in -30 windchill weather. i wanted it all over with.

                          Abra on university

im pretty sure abra can handle the body work, its a jetta, not a show car. but im a little worried that if theyve never seen a TDI (or t-B-i as the employees called it) and dont know anything about it theyre going to miss a lot of problems in the engine bay. ive been up all night picturing a chunk of headlight assembly wedged into the timing belt (TDI is an interference engine)just waiting for some moron to turn the key and bash some valves.
