    Workin' On A Roof Today

... and most likely tomorrow too. Probably one of the more cooler days I've been outside. It's the wind that kills a guy. Got some added cold gear over the last few nights... some Spyder hats (didn't need those, but they're sweet), and a Seirus fleece face mask, some thicker gloves that still allow me to work with tools (not ski gloves), and a Carhartt hood to button to the coat.

This, added to the normal cold gear, and I say... Bring it awn!

p.s. Damn it sounds windy out!

    Have fun with that.

One of my friends installs windows for a living....he'll work to 10* if he has to, but anything lower than that he says it's not even worth it.

Ive heard people saying expected highs here in fargo tomarrow will be -20 with windchills getting to -50...can't wait to walk to class in that.

But yea I was on a roof doing siding last week while home on break and the temps were too damn cold then + the vinyl just likes to shatter when its this cold.

Well... the roofers are wussies, they didn't show... not sure what the real reason was. Said they'd show up Monday. Well... I don't think it's s'posed to be any warmer Monday! So no roof work today. Tomorrow for a bit though
I was ready for it today... I probably won't be so gung ho tomorrow

The governor has no place to shut down schools. I heard that rumor too, but school closings are more of a locality thing. Minnesota is a big state and weather conditions can vary greatly between different regions. Closings should always be left up to the local municipalies.

The wind is actually supposed to diminish tomorrow (friday) supposedly. If its not windy, it isnt so bad if you keep moving around.
I will be on the ice down in Pepin WI sat and sun, at a snowmobile dragrace, racing my sled . Gotta get use out of the damn thing somehow. It should be a tad chilly oh well. The pickle factory (bar) is going to be open, good place to warm up. Walking distance away.
