It has been 4 months since the last thread

Looks like this site is going down in the next two months. Shame it's been 4 months since the last thread in the clubhouse. So many memories. I joined this site over 20 years ago. Hard to believe it has been that long. Hopefully any and all lurkers come out of hiding and post something from days long gone before the lights go out forever.

17 years ago for me... And yep, I agree... it's hard to believe it has been that long. Time flies, I guess. This site was constant entertainment back then. There was always something going on here that kept us coming back for more. I didn't post every day but I had to check in every day just to see what was going on. I didn't want to miss anything.

I keep thinking that someday forums will make a comeback.... and hopefully this forum could survive just long enough to make it's own glorious comeback. However, the longer I wait, the less likely it seems that will happen.

Is it time to let the site go? Or is it time to pass the torch and let someone else babysit the forum while it waits for facebook to go away? Not likely, I know.
(I still do not operate a facebook account in my real name, never have. )

D9 mentioned in a previous thread that this site will officially die on 12-1-2023. So like you said, in less than 2 months this site will be gone.... unless D9 passes it along to someone else???

Supposedly today is the last day of TCStangs.com...... according to what D9 posted a year ago when he last renewed the hosting. As I type this message, it's almost 6pm central time and the site appears to still be up and running.

Either the site dies later tonight, or D9 renewed again and didn't say anything.

If you're reading this after 12-1-23..... then apparently D9 decided to let it live once again.
