I suggest getting one. I got one for the gf for xmas and tonight some guy tried to take an illegal right into the intersection without yeilding to traffic w/ the right of way. All on video no ifs ands or buts that guy was in the wrong. One of the best $100 ive spent.

You may fare pretty well, but you may be surprised at how the other insurance company can take that video and use it against you. In June I had a lady in front of me move to the right like she was parking, only to make a sudden illegal u-turn and leaving me no way out but to hit her. Officer said "Cut and dry she was in the wrong". She was issued an illegal u-turn ticket and a failure to yield ticket. Her insurance claimed I was 80% at fault, mine said she was 60% at fault. Bottom line is I was fucked, and out my deductible.

Does proving this guy was "in the wrong" matter when Minnesota is a no fault state?

We'll see. Him failing to yeild at a red light while taking a right turn & causing a traffic accident should be a pretty easy sale considering I have quite a few family friends who are attorneys and are owed favors from injury attorneys. Ins company can try to fight it but I doubt theyll win.

Yes he took out the front passenger side of the girlfriends car. And rather deal with the he said she said bull shit its all on camera.

I plugged it in on the windahield out of view aand anytime the car is running its recording, the memory will overwrite itsself every 8 hours.
No having to deal with it day in and out its just there if ya nees it.
