It'd be next to impossible to find an S2 new, they were sold in 2011. Is she already in a contract with TMo?
Let's take a step back. Why do you think the S2 would be a good fit? Is it the:
Size?
Android?
Features?
If you want to go used, Craigslist (yuk), or www.swappa.com You want new, TMo's website or AmazonDear Government, eventually the people with money will tell you to fuck off, and stop paying for those that don't work

Walmart does too, that is my standby. She is not under contract. Android is pretty user friendly, smartphone would be a massive step up and she wants internet too. My s2 is easy to use and i thought i could get one still but not really true. I can get a new gs3 at walmart for 300 or amazon around 250ish, but more than i want to spend for her, she may have a hard time with it anyway. I know there are cheap pay as you go phones out there, but thought i would ask because i am not phone savvy.Originally posted by NOTNSS View PostTarget carries TMobile pay as you go phones, buy the nicest one they have then put her SIM card in it.Originally posted by HackWhy spend all that money just to get a worn out copy of a small block Ford? occasionally I see really good prices on HTC and LG phones, like the HTC one M7 or the LG G2? IIRC.
I have a LG Nexus4 and it works for me. Paid $200 for it new from GooglePlay a year ago. It's the time of year I would expect to see a price in your range for a nice phone this month.Mustangless!

Looks pretty similar to my MOTO X phone. If it's half the phone that mine is, easily the second best phone out on the market, I would get it.Originally posted by 289Notch View Post

My mom has a similar phone, maybe the same one in the link. She likes it and compared to my almost 5 year old htc evo, its capable of what mine does. She got the phone through consumer cellular for around $125. She only pays $25/month but there is little data at that rate.Originally posted by 289Notch View Post
It's that commercial with the retirees in the motor home "we pay only for what we use".

Is this phone t-mobile compatible? All I see is that it is AT&T? Like I said, I am not phone savvyOriginally posted by HackWhy spend all that money just to get a worn out copy of a small block Ford? i've seen the motox onsale lately for 200. the motox is quite a bit nicer phone than the one I posted. If you compare the specs it's apples to oranges. the screen resolution and camera are very sub par, but some people just use phones for talking and texting. for those purposes there are many sub 100 dollar phones on sale lately. If taking pics and using the web and games and such then the 200 phone is a must.Originally posted by mnstang View PostLooks pretty similar to my MOTO X phone.
