I've been thinking about renting out my house. But am extreemly leary of tennants and the douche baggery involed within. I've been told I could get an easy $1600/mo for the dump and am only paying $800/mo including insurance currently. I've been hearing a lot of commercials about renterssomethingorother.com. What's that all about? They end up with most of my profits or not?

Some friends have been using renters warehouse to manage their rental for a couple years now. It's around $75/month. Rw also takes your first full months rent but after that it's the normal $75/mo or whatever. Friends are over an hours drive from the rental so its not like it's across the street. They are content with the service provided and have always had good renters. Rw also does their own background/criminal checks on prospective renters.

I've heard Rw is owned and operated by realtors and lawyers.
