I didn't get a cell phone until 2004, in fact I stayed with the same provider (Verizon) until a little over a month ago when I switched to AT&T. Up until 04, I just had a pager.

Unrelated question. For some reason, one particular person always goes straight to voicemail when he calls me. I receive calls just fine from all sorts of people, but for this one specific person, my phone doesn't ring and it just goes to voicemail. This has happened multiple times in the past month. Is there some sort of explanation for this?

Check that person in your contacts, some ROMs have a 'send to voicemail' option. It may be listed there. Or, open up the dialer and hit the menu button. Under there is Blocked Contacts. See if they are there

15 years, and this is something that has come up recently for me. I have had a phone through work for about 9months now and my contract is up on my personal phone. It is an old Unlimited data Verizon plan that you cant get anymore and my number has been mine for 15 years.

First world problems. Ugh. What should I do? $107 a month is ridiculous just to keep a damn phone number.
