Thoughts on Toyota FJ Cruiser's?

Kinda been looking at these, anyone have one or know anything about them, issues, what to look for? What color is sought after?

I've heard multiple times that the blind spots and view from the driver's perspective is horrible. Like can't even look up to see the stoplights above you. I have no personal experience with them though.

I agree, I saw one go for a decent price last week but I had no clue at that time what they were worth and what to look for, I'm looking at 2007 and up.

I believe these fine machines are but in Japan. Which is a plus IMO. Also excellent off road ability. I.e. Twin cities paved roads.

My wife drives a 07 TRD FJ for her winter beater. She loves it, the blind spots are annoying when new but you get used to it. Have had it 3 years with 0 issues. I lifted it and put bigger tires on it and the mileage got better. It is great in the snow and looks cool. I would recommend one, she was between the JK 4 door wrangler and this and the FJ is a much nicer truck hands down the only thing better is the 4 full doors on the jeep otherwise road noise, fit/finish and comfort the FJ kicked the jeeps ass and we drove a few of each. We got the TRD because the only color my wife wanted was black and 07 was the only year they did all back, I hate the white roof thing.

Trd will have more off road orientated stuff brah. If it's like the taco it will have progressive rate blistens, full metal undercarriage protection, bigger tires, probably a e-locker, and a bad ass sticker.

07 was the only year for TRD ours has elockers front and rear and 2 lows in the Tcase 08 and up they are trail team. not as much stuff but the best part is solid color. Black was a must have and all 07 TRDs were black. I shipped mine in from down south.They are good trucks.

I worked on a TRD FJ cruiser this one time, and that mofo had the supercharger kit on it. I have no idea if it was fast, but it's not every day you see someone that actually spent the coin for the dealer option huffer kit. /cool story

It's a toyota, what could go wrong with it?
