Just to try something different. I wanted no snow and the ocean, this seemed like the best fit. My wife actually found a job before we moved but I'm not working yet. She is the bread winner of this family and she makes enough to support us. I must say I love it here so far, it is tough to find anyone who can say anything bad about San Diego. LA is the exact opposite, it's hard to find anyone that can say anything good about it.

Pretty crazy how many hot chicks are out there eh?
Check out Petco park even if you hate baseball. You can stand at the top deck and see the ocean from up high with a nice cool breeze.
I used to hop on the train to Tijuana but since people are getting beheaded I'd stay away.
Don't forget to get your medical card. Lol.

Stay out of Imperial Beach, Chula Vista is safe but you might want to brush up on your mexican. If you want to go to the beach, go north to the Del Mar or Oceanside areas (naval ships will dump the shit tanks and trash off shore, you don't want to swim in that.) Coronado Bay is filthy but the bridge in nice to drive across at night. Also, use the trolley, you get a better feel for the city that way.ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ
barack obama is president. You no longer need concern yourself with your own welfare. The government, as nanny state, will protect, provide and handle everything for you. All you need do is demand your "entitlements", continue to vote Democrat and watch Oprah.
Vote democrat... because your daddy's union boss said so and millions on welfare are depending on it.

Yes there are a lot of hot chicks out here, in general most people are in shape. You don't have that 6-8 month hibernation period where Minnesotans pack on weight. Since I'm not working I only drive my car about once a week. I walk everywhere, I put on about 5 miles a day just walking. I live in east village which is about 10 blocks from the Gaslamp area and about a 15 min walk from Little Italy. East village used to be a shit hole but in the past 5 years they have changed that, by pushing the homeless out. They are revitalizing this neighborhood. Most of the bums are south of me. Twisted I came here 4 times in the last last year before I moved here to make sure it was a place I wanted to move, so I'm pretty familiar with the area. It's hard to get lost when you can really only go East and North.

Southern how is NC that was one of our options (Wilmington NC), not as much work and still seemed like the south to me. By south I mean if you get off the beaten path you still have trailer houses with cars up on blocks. No offense anyone who likes that sort of thing but it just isn't my style.

"Where ya headed?"
"Aspen."
"Hmm, California. Beautiful."
Fuck everything about living in that weird ass state with their stupid laws. Weather would be nice though.'96 Impala SS #21,559 of 41,934
