    Aluminum wheel polishing?

Anyone know anyone that polishes aluminum motorcycle wheels? I'm super lazy and don't want to do it.. Would rather pay someone to do it who's the best in town for the buck??

Is there a time effective method you've used? I am extremely ADD when it comes to something like polishing rims for 20 hours

I use an electric drill and the cotton polishing bits you can get at harbor freight, and other stores (not the mothers powerball crap).

This come with compounds as well, but if you don't know what you're doing, just leave them be.

I prefer using mother's aluminum polish or similar, but i know there's better compounds out there. then simply apply a small amount on the affected area, (using the smaller bits for the smaller/hard to reach areas obviously) and buff/polish it out, then once the water stains, and spots etc are gone, use a larger polishing bit and go over the entire thing, then hand wipe away the residue. using cotton is important too, at least in my opinion. it absorbs the best, and leaves a nice streak free finish.

Then I believe Zoops (?) makes a sealer you can apply to the top of the fresh polish to seal it and keep it shined for a long time there after the initial polish.

Thanks sir.. I should have mentioned these are currently painted.. I'd need to use paint stripper or something similar to strip the paint then do a mid grade sand paper or something I'd assume?

it's not hard, but labor intensive. anyone that who is going to do it decently is going to be worth way more time than yours.

oh and now i see they're painted. haha, you're fucked, good luck.
