"Recent" Campaign Shooter Game?

Looking for my first "campaign" shooter game for the Xbox 360, choices are Black Ops 2, MW3, Battlefield 3 or Far Cry 3. I am mostly interested in campaign game play and don't really care for the futuristic shit but would entertain the idea of Black Ops 2 if I could easily look past the new age weaponry. I know I am behind the trend but I haven't really found an interest in the shooter genre again till recently. As a younger me I played the early Rainbow Six games, Project I'm Going In and some of the Delta Force titles for the PC. I am more or less looking for games most like those series of games. Seems like Rainbow Six Patriots may never come out and Battlefield 4 or MW4/Ghosts wont be out till 4th quarter 2013 and I don't want to wait that long.

They don't have FPS shooter games anymore. Congress outlawed them because they make people shoot up buildings.

I only play PC games so I can't help you and I don't think they have ARMA II for consoles.

Left 4 Dead 2.

It's the only game I have played that has replay value. I play almost every day for about 45 mins - 1 hour then I'm done. Been doing this since it came out...back in 2009.

Far Cry 3 hands down out of those listed.

One of the better games I've played recently.

...and theres really nothing like Rainbow6/Ghost Recon anymore, even the new games titled the same are nothing like those games were.

ArmaIII will be the next game that follows in the realism steps of those games.

best story is mw/mw2/mw3 but you have to play them in order, same with BO/BO2. Far Cry 3 is excellant and you dont need to play the previous Far Crys.
