Thunderbird SC Worth buying speed/power wise??

Low 15s with a lotta spin. Even with it being a bit faster now, i certainly wouldn't call it fast. The other car is rated for 100+ traps, but I certainly wouldn't call it fast either. Just another family sedan.

Your cousin's wreck is unfortunate, but I don't see what it would have to do with being fast, unless he's running 13s at 120-130. I'm not trying to split hairs, but I just don't think anyone considers 13s to be fast anymore. Quick? Sure. Last time I was truly impressed by 13s or 14s was 2003.

13.24 with a 2.1 60' ft is actually around right. Short runner intake gives no bottom end. 2vs usually cut 1.6' or better. Only thing wrong with my dump was the pos Goodyear DRs. 90% of the performance with a taped up rear window eff yea. And you didn't offend me in any kind of way. The trilogy is a roots-blower right? I've only ever driven a centri-blown 4v, and I imagine I would drop a brick with the instant boost on demand from a big power roots blown 4v. Marauders are sleepers for sure too, seeing as how most people just see them as gussied up Panthers. Isn't it funny how you can part traffic on the highway too? haha

Yes roots blower. It makes the car quite fun. He also had gears/exhaust and I believe lower end work since not long after the blower went on the motor decided it didn't like it so well It had scoot for a car of it's size. It would effectively doubly my yearly citation intake I'm sure.

mine had a tune ,gears a couple other mods and 150 shot lol was a fun grampa car

I replaced that window regulator quite awhile back. Are you stalking me or something? Funny... you accuse me of being butt hurt, but then you apparently try to learn as much about me as you can. Yet i still couldn't care less who you are or what you think of me.

But enough about the troll. They seem like nice enough cars. I'm not big on n/a, but sounds easy enough to change that on marauders if you can source parts for a decent price. I think I remember one of the specialty car magazines building an m112 powered one for One Lap of America a few years ago. Seemed pretty neat.

Edit: Let's all be honest though, and Ryan knows what I'm talking about... you can get away with some ridiculous shit in hopped up grandma cars. I could probably go past a cop while doing 20 over and doing a line of coke off a striper's ass, and they probably wouldn't look twice.

I'm just surprised nobody has made fun of me for having a DD that's faster than my "race car".

All shit talking aside, Beavnasty, no hard feelings, so if you want to run em at some point when the weather is nicer and I actually get traction below 50. I'd be down. I've pretty much decided to stop fucking with the car because I like its current state of reliability, so other than a slightly smaller pulley, and a few other things, the car probably won't be too drastically different in the spring.
