They are tax payer funded. Who is supposed to foot the bill. Them? Yeah right. Only in a perfect world where people are actually held accountable for their actions. If I fucked up this bad I would be fired immediately. They should be held to those standards as well. Otherwise, what does that say to the rest of the engineers or anyone who has to make that type of decision working for them? Go ahead and fuck it up...not like anyone is going to do anything about it anyways.

Then some emergency stuff like police. Big article in the paper yesterday. Some transportation engineer in Hennepin county made $56000 in OT last year. $130000 total. Blamed it on the bridge projects being behind and being shorthanded.
