Where to go for Diff overhaul/ring and pinion replacement

Anybody have any recommendations for a place (preferably southwest metro) that does diff work. I am thinking about changing the Explorer to 4.10 gears to compensate for the bigger tires. I have thought about attempting it myself but I know there are some specialty tools needed so I am not sure if I want to tackle it.

PS it is an 02 Explorer so just doing an axle swap isn't an option from what I have been able to figure.

DB performance did mine in the mustang, swapped out the spool for a 31 spline frpp diff; practically same procedure though. I need to swap gears though, they're getting noisy :\

You should be able to find an Explorer in a junkyard. They were offered with up to a 4.11 gear. Some even came with limited slip. You can even upgrade to one with rear disc brakes if you have drum brakes right now. 1995 and newer ones came with disc brakes.

The axle tag will read 411 for an open rear, or 4L11 for one with limited slip. You'll probably run across many that have 373 or 3L73 tags, but I found a few with the 4L11 a couple years ago when I was looking.

It would be cheaper than buying new gears, plus paying labor for the gear swap.
