    Man tries to rob an undercover police officer

    "Police: Suspect With Pellet Gun Attempts to Rob Undercover Officer

    A 25-year-old man was in jail Saturday after attempting to rob an undercover Eagan detective with a pellet gun.

    Police say it happened around 9 p.m. Thursday after the suspect allegedly robbed two men in the area of Coachmen Road and City View Drive with a pellet gun, pistol-whipping one of them.

    Officers were in the area talking with the victims when the suspect approached an undercover officer in his unmarked car. Police say a short foot pursuit followed, with the officer tackling, then arresting the suspect.

    The suspect, a Minneapolis man who was in Eagan visiting family, was in the Dakota County jail Saturday. Multiple felony charges are pending."

            LOL yup, when I was one Eagans Fire Department, that my my area. the other direction on yankee dootle it gets real awesome real quick.
