There is one in Lake Elmo and there is one in Cottage Grove. However, they are only open through Labor Day. You'll have to wait until after Memorial Day to see a movie at one.

Damn, well I was really hoping someone more familiar with the area would point out that said location was a bank and has been for years. The fact is the drive-in that used to be there closed in the 70's and was torn down in the early 90's. Thus explaning my failed attempt at a joke. I fail.

That' how I feel...There's what 2-3 maybe 6 people from the NE Suburbs on here (not to mention near-by Champlin and Anoka) that don't remember the Hi-65?! C'mon I'm not even old! Hi-65 only closed in the late 1990s-early 2000.

I think the Dariette has good food. We should go there sometime and eat, it's a much lazier atmosphere, some broad actually brings the food to your car.

That Medtronic campus is effin HUGE.
Funniest thing is that whenever the GF used to drive by it when she was on the cell phone, her signal would cut-out...all those Pace-makers maybe?

I was just on 65 yesterday to shop at the new Kohls (Gf's friend hooked her up with a "friends/family" discount)...I didn't realize it was right by Gasoline Alley and John's Auto Parts! Those places used to be the last thing befor the middle of nowhere.

Yes, Splat enjoys eating large hoagies while watching movies at the drive-in, he often gets so engrossed in the hoagie he doesn't catch the whole movie.

What can I say, I'm a fan of a good tuna sammitch, and a tube steak for the female companion.

gives dinner and a movie whole new meaning...
