What are some good BBQ places in the northern burbs? I'm not talking about Famous Daves or any of the big name places, something more mom and pop like. Any suggestion?

Not my first choice, they think because they were on a cable show once that their shit dont stink. Inthink it is moderate to ok at best. I am a huge BBQ fan and go everywhere I can, and if I were ti make a suggestion, I would say Dixie blue.you would miss it if you weren't looking, it is on radison rd south of 125th/main st. It is in a small strip mall with a gas station and a dry cleaners. It is in Blaine. Get the ribs and brisket, both are good, but the brisket is the best you will find anywhere.Originally posted by GCJ View PostQ-Fanatic in Champlin.
Great Old School BBQ Joint ...Originally posted by HackWhy spend all that money just to get a worn out copy of a small block Ford? It's going to be in the junk yard for a reason. I understand you have a religion called LS motors and you have faith that the LS motors break the laws of physics and work better and cost less than anything else ever built. Plus they never wear out.
I disagree.

Dixie blue is what sassy pig was. There was a falling out between co owners and sold it off to just one and renamed it. Same place, different nameOriginally posted by HackWhy spend all that money just to get a worn out copy of a small block Ford? It's going to be in the junk yard for a reason.
