What is the issue? It appears the OWNER of the drive-in wants to sell it and he has every right to sell the land to Wal-Mart. Whether or not the city allows Wal-Mart to build there is really not the drive-in owner's problem.

Everyone likes to whine about walmart but shops there because of prices...Originally posted by Scotty07 View PostWhat is the issue? so true... the only thing I buy at Wal-Mart is 5W-20 Motorcraft oil and Motorcraft oil filters for my Mustang. I also only shop at the EP Wal-Mart... it's less ghetto than the BP Wal-Mart.
I'm a little disappointed they plan on building a Wal-Mart on the corner of 169 and Rockford Road... that's like 1 mile from my house and I really don't want the trash that goes with it near me.

The Motorcraft filters sold at Walmart aren't actually Motorcraft filters, they're rebranded Fram filters. Cardbord internals and all. If you feel like being skeptical about my post, feel free to read the billions of threads about this on the internet.Originally posted by N8Dogg98 View Post^

I agree, now the seller of drive in has to worry about assholes delaying his sale because they don't want a walmart there but yet after its built they will all shop there. Kinda like eating pink slime in meat for years but then when someone posts a picture of it on the internet they all say "Oh I can't eat that" but a week later its all forgotten and they are eating pink slime meat again.Originally posted by Scotty07 View PostWhat is the issue? He was referring to Motorcraft filters specifically from Walmart. Not Motorcraft filters in general.Originally posted by N8Dogg98 View PostFalse, they are actually Purolator filters in a Motorcraft box.
