Fox Body production numbers??

Anybody know a source with production number breakdown on particular year/option FOX cars?

I started wondering about my 1988 Notch and it is optioned different than any other Fox I've owned.

-88 California Mass air Coupe
-Bright Regatta Blue
-Blue Velour interior
-5-spd
-A/C
-Manual windows
-Power Locks
-Power Mirrors

-No Rear defrost
-Factory Radio "Delete"
-Factory Door side moulding "Delete" "XXX" MLDG code

I am trying to find out more about the "Delete" options and if anyone could order the door trim delete, or if it was ordered by some government agency. It was purchased 7/25/1988 and was purchased by an individual in Yucca Valley Ca. I still have the original purchase order/finance paperwork and warranty ID card. Purchase price was $13,662 brand new.

I believe the car was ordered by either the dealer or gov't agency this way and just ended up on the lot for sale where the original owner bought it. It doesn't have any of the tell-tale SSP items, but some have said the FBI, DEA, USAF, and even the Postal Inspectors, ordered these cars and some dont have all the options.

Might have just been ordered as a "stripper package", but have never seen a civilian one with the "XXX" Door Moulding delete.

Everything I've seen shows that the furthest they have the production numbers down to are year, body style, and color.

You'd think somewhere they keep a chart of options purchased. That info would be important for determining how to price future Ford vehicles and what to charge for options.

But when you're dealing with 80's Notches, you can charge whatever the fuck you want for them as they are more of a collector then the #23 1983 Corvette

I have heard that ultimately Marti is going to put together something similar to the older Mustangs, but who knows when.
