So if someone offers you money on something you have for sale and you say yes. He tells you he is going to get it in a couple weeks. Then he tells you he bought someone elses and did not tell you til after he bought the other persons. Does everybody think that is wrong? Or is it this ok?

You are correct. I recently did this to someone I consider a friend and have had many transactions with. Although I did not buy another product just did not know it was not what I wanted or needed.
