    Question???

So if someone offers you money on something you have for sale and you say yes. He tells you he is going to get it in a couple weeks. Then he tells you he bought someone elses and did not tell you til after he bought the other persons. Does everybody think that is wrong? Or is it this ok?

Rule #1 post the persons name....oh wait, this isn't yellowbullet.

Me personally, I think that's wrong. If I told someone I would take something, I buy it whether I found another one or not. It's my problem not the sellers.

barack obama is president. You no longer need concern yourself with your own welfare. The government, as nanny state, will protect, provide and handle everything for you. All you need do is demand your "entitlements", continue to vote Democrat and watch Oprah.

Vote democrat... because your daddy's union boss said so and millions on welfare are depending on it.

I wouldn't hold anything for some for "a few weeks." People that need a few weeks never come through. I'd hold something for maybe a few days tops...

I'd hold stuff I'm selling for a good friend but never someone I didn't know.

It was me, and the item was a boss block.

Was the spirit of this question that you held a public sale item for said individual and he reneged or that he just wanted something that you didnt necessarily have for sale and left you hanging?

You are correct. I recently did this to someone I consider a friend and have had many transactions with. Although I did not buy another product just did not know it was not what I wanted or needed. So I told the person I would buy it anyways and take on the burden of reselling it.

But to not even call you and tell you is horseshit, you may have turned away many potential buyers.
It is a damn poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell any word.

I'm quite serious. When I'm not at work I would love to discuss this further.

Never said I was holdong anything. I just think when someone says they want it they should follow thru with it. I guess honnor means nothing!
